Biography

After five years in the wastelands of extreme music, The Noctambulant returns with Revival—an album born of primal fury and Southern Gothic atmosphere. Rooted in the haunted soil of Southern Florida, their sound is where the choking swamps of the American South meet the frostbitten peaks of Scandinavia.

Pulling from blues, rockabilly, goth rock, and American country, the band crafts something cursed yet enduring. It’s a voice steeped in tradition but sharpened by blackened aggression, breathing new life into the fading pulse of extreme music.

Their path has taken them across the U.S. and Europe, including the 2019 European tour with Vader and Hate, a 2021 appearance at Welcome to Rockville, a U.S. run with Mörk Gryning, and a return to Europe in 2022 for another tour with Vader and Hate. Each stage has been met with the same spectral intensity that defines their music.

The Noctambulant channels the myths, spirits, and history of the South into a living storm of sound and shadow—uncompromising, unflinching, and unwilling to fade.
